image of a male and a femaleOn Friday, January 26, 2018, SGT Joshua Bennett, re-enlisted into the United States Army surrounded by his platoon; family; and Bronco family at Spring Lake Middle School. SGT Bennett reached out to his former PE Teacher, Coach Leonard Bellamy, and requested that Coach and Mrs. Masa Kinsey-Shipp, Principal (his English Language Teacher) be present for this monumental occasion. During his time at Spring Lake Middle School, SGT Bennett was voted “Most Athletic” and shared some of his fond memories as a Bronco Student. He addressed the small group of students who attended and expressed to them to work hard; be proud of your school; and when they become successful, don’t forget to come back to Spring Lake and help your fellow Broncos. SGT Bennett is currently stationed with the 82nd ABN Division on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Thank you SGT Bennett for allowing us to share this day with you; Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco! #BroncoPride
